I’ve just begun my life in Valencia, and I’m still adapting and finding my place in this vibrant city.
My journey with Spain began in September 2024. What started as a simple scouting trip through France and Spain—visiting Barcelona and Madrid—ended up planting a seed in my heart. I came to experience European culture, but I left with a profound desire to call this place home. That trip changed everything; I never imagined that by today, in early 2026, I would have already spent half a year living here in Valencia.
I am a passionate traveler at heart. My footsteps have marked Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the United States. In 2024, I turned my gaze toward the European continent, leading me to my current adventure: building a life in Spain.
Travel is more than just seeing places; it’s about experiencing the world’s diversity and connecting with like-minded souls. Sometimes, it even creates miracles. About ten years ago, while visiting Angkor Wat in Cambodia, I snapped a candid photo of a lively night scene in Siem Reap and shared it on my blog. A fellow traveler reached out, and we became friends on WeChat. It wasn’t until last year, while visiting the Grand Palace together, that he revealed something mind-blowing: he was actually the stranger in that photo I took a decade ago. This is what we call Yuánfèn (destiny) in Chinese culture.
I believe my presence here in Valencia today is also a form of Yuánfèn.

我是一个热衷于探索世界的旅行者，足迹曾遍布日本、韩国、新加坡、马来西亚、泰国、柬埔寨、越南和美国。2024年，我开启了欧洲大陆的篇章，并最终选择在西班牙瓦伦西亚停下脚步，尝试一种全新的生活方式。
旅行不仅让我领略了世界的多样性，更让我结识了许多志同道合的朋友，甚至创造了一些奇妙的瞬间。大约十年前，在柬埔寨暹粒的街头，我随手拍下了一张极具氛围的夜景并发表在博客上。一位旅友因此与我结识并保持联系。直到去年，当我们相约游玩大皇宫时，他突然提到，原来他就是我十年前那张照片里的路人。这种跨越时空的巧合，或许就是中国人常说的“缘分”吧。
我想，此时此刻我能居住在瓦伦西亚，也是一种冥冥之中的缘分。
